At the National Unity Platform (NUP), we are driven by a strong commitment to democracy, good governance, and social justice for all Ugandans. Our organization, which is the NGO wing of the People Power movement, aims to uplift and empower the poor and marginalized in society who have long been excluded from the mainstream discourse in Uganda.
As members of the NUP Diaspora, we recognize that the challenges facing Uganda require a united effort, both within the country and among the diaspora. We believe in the power of collaboration and the potential it holds to bring about positive change.

Why We Need Unity
Uganda is a country with immense potential, yet it is plagued by various socio-economic and political challenges. Poverty, corruption, and inequality continue to hinder progress, leaving many Ugandans trapped in a cycle of hardship.
By coming together as a united front, we can amplify our voices and advocate for the rights of the marginalized. Unity is the key to dismantling the barriers that have kept the poor and marginalized in the shadows for far too long.
